My Sport Live together with NRL Victoria is pleased to announce that a selection of matches throughout the 2023 Storm Premiership season are set to be broadcast live.

A selection of fixtures from the Men’s First, Second and Third Grade as well as the Women’s First Grade will be showcased each week live to the My Sport Live Platform.

It is the first time that NRL Victoria will have games showcased live outside of competition finals, and other games throughout the season will also be uploaded to view on demand through the portal.

All of the games can be viewed via https://www.watchmysportlive.tv/nrl-victoria and the round one matches include First Grade Men’s games between the Waverley Panthers and Northern Thunder, as well as the Truganina Rabbitohs and Altona Roosters.

Speaking about the announcement NRL Victoria Operations Manager Scott McNaughton said it was a big day for the continued development of the sport in Victoria.

“The growth we have seen in our game over the past 12-months off the back of Covid in Victoria has been enormous, and from a development point of view we are just going from strength-to-strength,” McNaughton said.

“So now to be able to work with My Sport Live – who we have been working together with for a number of years, to showcase some of the best talent in the state is a wonderful opportunity for us.

“We are really looking forward to showcasing as many teams, clubs and players as possible and seeing how this develops throughout the season and seasons to come.”

Speaking of the announcement, My Sport Live Managing Director Andrew Weiss said it was great to be able to partner together with a sport so widely recognised across the country.

“We have been working with NRL Victoria for a number of years in filming matches and providing much needed content for coaching and review purposes,” Weiss said.

“But now to be able to showcase it live across our platform and allow everyone to be able to watch is a great step forward.

“We love working with Brent, Scott and the NRL Victoria team and can’t wait to bring quality of the Victorian competitions to the big screen and to the masses.”
