Supporting the Next Generation of Sports Media Professionals

At My Sport Live, not only are we passionate about bringing sport to life, but we want to bring young up-and-coming media professionals along for the ride.

Throughout the year, we invite university students studying media and communications degrees to help us with the important work we do through internships.

These internships allow students to gain real-world experience within the industry and apply what they’ve learnt in lectures and seminars into a practical setting.

During their time with My Sport Live, students have the opportunity to learn about a range of topics such as:

• Live Sports broadcasting and production
• Camera operations and field coverage
• Video editing and content creation
• Podcast production
• Graphic design and digital media assets

Interns have the opportunity to work alongside experienced media professionals, learning from them and gaining wisdom and knowledge about the industry.

This opportunity is also a great way for young people to network with like-minded people in the same across Victoria.

We play an important role in developing the next generation of sports media professionals and look forward to seeing where they go in the future.
