On the eve of season 2023, My Sport Live and the Victorian Amateur Football Association is set for another ground-breaking year of showcasing the premier Amateur Australian Rules competition in the country.

Having worked together for the past seven seasons, the partnership will continue to forge ahead in 2023 bringing match replays, live streams, highlights and more content to your screens than ever before.

Every game of William Buck Premier Men’s, Premier B and C Men’s, and William Buck Premier Women’s, will be covered – either via VAFA TV on the VAFA website, via the VAFA Facebook Page, through News Corp’s KommunityTV live streaming platform, and via the My Sport Live OTT Platform.

Other matches from other divisions will also get airtime throughout the season as well.

Ahead of the opening round this weekend, VAFA CEO Jason Reddick said that it was wonderful that more matches will be shown to more people than ever before.

“We are proud to have always led the way with how we have showcased the best action across all of our competitions in Men’s, Women’s and Under 19’s categories,” Reddick said.

“And 2023 will be no different with over 400 games to be brought to the screen throughout the year, and a core number of them being produced live across various platforms.

“It is wonderful to again partner up with My Sport Live for the eighth year in succession,  and we look forward to continue to work together to bring as much of our 2023 season action to as many people as we can.”

Ahead of round one, My Sport Live Managing Director Andrew Weiss said that the long-running relationship with the VAFA has grown significantly over time.

“We have been breaking ground with the VAFA for a long time now – filming and streaming matches before other competitions had even thought of doing the same,” he said.

“The relationship continues to grow and we are looking forward to another season of working together to bring the best action that the VAFA has to offer to as many people around the country as possible.”
