My Sport Live and Anytime Fitness are both thrilled to announce the latest Anytime Fitness Grant Program recipients to receive funding to have their events live-streamed!

Coming up on May 25, Old Scotch Football Club will host Round 7 VAFA action, taking on University Blacks at Camberwell Sports Ground, with the match-up broadcast LIVE to Facebook and the Club website.

Looking ahead to July 14, the United International Taekwondo Federation’s (ITF) Open Victorian Championships will take centre stage at Caroline Springs Leisure centre. The competition will see a plethora of the state’s best taekwondo athletes streamed LIVE.

Speaking about the newest events being added into the Grant Program, Anytime Fitness Local Area Marketing representative Fred Drew said he was excited to help showcase such wonderful community events.

“We love having the ability to support our local communities, and thanks to my Sport Live the opportunity is there to do just that!” He said.

“To have a game of footy through the VAFA and a taekwondo competition through the ITF, that are both supporting active participation within their local areas is pleasing to see.

“These events abide by our values in positively supporting healthy lifestyles, and we look forward to involving the associated Victorian communities in our ambition.”

Old Scotch Football Club General Manager Peter Simpson, is very excited for the Club and the surrounding suburbs of Camberwell, within the Boroondara municipality.

“We’re very excited to be the successful recipient, the VAFA competition and our Club have shown dedication in bringing communities closer together, in our case for 98 years,” he said.

“This broadcast is the perfect opportunity to showcase what we represent in promoting health and physical activity to the surrounding Camberwell region.

“Thank-you especially to Anytime Fitness in Camberwell, My Sport Live, RSN 927 and VAFA for this fantastic opportunity to promote our great club and its community partners.”

President of United ITF Taekwondo Australia, and event organiser, Michael Muleta is stoked to be partnering with Anytime Fitness and My Sport Live to encourage the taekwondo community to live active lifestyles.

“This opportunity provides fantastic exposure for the sport of taekwondo and expressing our values in advocating healthy living among local communities.

“Through our involvement in the broadcast, we hope aligning with Caroline Springs Anytime Fitness and Melbourne’s Western Suburbs will help strengthen our push on the importance of physical activity.

“We believe this event will assist in keeping the local community connected through sport, as such, we encourage all Taekwondo schools in the region to get involved, and we can’t wait to be part of it!”
